This was a paper that was delivered at the National Center for State Courts Courts Technology Conference (CTC 8) in Kansas City 2003. It describes a case management system that was developed by the New Zealand Judiciary that was known as JTK or the Judicial Toolkit. Regrettably the application is no longer supported by the Ministry of Justice, but it shows the potential of IT systems for use by the Judiciary
